DeAnna Wendland is an associate attorney at Farber and Lindley, LLC, focusing on civil litigation, landlord-tenant law, and criminal defense.
DeAnna joined the firm after earning her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in May 2024. During law school, she honed her legal skills through practical experience in the Suffolk Accelerator Clinic, where she advocated for tenants in discrimination and landlord-tenant disputes. Additionally, DeAnna gained valuable courtroom experience defending indigent clients in criminal matters in the Boston Municipal Court of Dorchester.
Before pursuing a legal career, DeAnna spent over a decade as a teacher in private and public schools across the Boston area. Her time in the classroom, particularly with her high school students, inspired her to pursue a legal career focused on advocating for justice outside the classroom. Their resilience and determination motivated her to seek ways to make a broader impact in her community.
In addition to her law degree, DeAnna holds a Master’s in Education Literacy from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hillsdale College.
When she’s not passionately advocating for her clients, DeAnna enjoys traveling with her partner and baby, embracing life's adventures.
